Comprehension Questions:

Tuesdays with Morrie

1. The new addition that was in morrie’s house was The Oxygen machine. Morrie was attaching a plastic tube to his nostrils in order to get some air. Mitch did not really like the idea that Morrie was connected to some kind of machinery so he’d always tries to not look at it.
2. I think what Morrie ment is that the closer you are to death the more you start to appreciate life. You learn more about yourself when you on the brink of your life and start to make more definitive decisions. You focus more on your life and your needs that some non-obligatory stuff like work.
3. If Mitch would think to himself that he is going to die, he would be only forced to think about his work and other materialistic needs.
4. Rob and Jon were Morrie’s sons. They came to his home to take care for their ill father. They also helped him with letter that would come to him from all over America and helped him write them.

Silver chair

1. From what her friends had seen, Jill was snatched right from the Puddleglum’s shoulders.They tried to hold her legs and pull her back but to no avail. Thee were shocked by what just happened before them. Now they wondered what could happen to Jill out there. While being anxious abut Jill’s situation, Scrubb came up with the idea to climb up on Puddleglum, the same way Jill did, and see if he could fit through the hole.
2. When Jill came out of the hole, she could see different magical creatures such as fauns, dryads and dwarfs. They were all dancing and celebrating. Turns out Jill had crawled out not only to the surface but to the heart of the Narnia. The reason she did not finish her sentence was because a big snowball plunged right into her face. In the state of shock, she leaned back enough to get out of the hole.
3. She had mixed emotions when her friends were dugout. At first she wanted to cry because they finally got out. But at the same time wanted to laugh because of how Eustace reacted to the crowd and how his face was dirty.
4. No one doubted that it was Prince because some creatures had the chance to see him before his enchantment. Some even remember days when his young father King Caspian looked exactly as him.
5. Prince Rilian was talking over the whole adventure with the different magic creatures. He told how it was being enchanted and all of The Witches plans. At first she killed Rillian’s mother and took him under her possession. Then she created the Underworld to gater enough recourses needed to take over Narnia. Then he told the story of how children found him. Told about every place they visited and all their heroic acts.

I’ve recently read a news article that is primarily focuses on animation. It was about an upcoming animated movie from Irish company Cartoon Saloon named Wolfwalkers that is directed by Tomm Moore. Cartoon Saloon had made some movies in the past that had won many awards in past years. One of their best known animated films are The Secret of Kells and Song Of The Sea. I highly recommend these movies. As an artist, I really like Tomm Moore’s and Cartoon Saloon works because they are so vibrant and have a special artstyle and I am very exited about their upcoming movie.
