Comprehension questions:
1. When lantern lit up, Jill saw many inhabitants of the underground world. They were pale creatures. Some of them looked like small gnomes that are barely foot high and some were taller than men. Apart from that, they had different characteristics to them like tails, beards, even horns. They all had their three-prolonged spears in their hands.

2. Puddleglum was very exited to see them. because he though that they would teach him to take a serious view of life.

3. The reason why Jill couldn’t bear it any longer was because the path that the Earthmen were leading them was becoming more and more narrow until they reached the point where they need to crawl in order to proceed. Jill did not liked that idea, but her friends persuaded her that they would follow closely behind.

4. The cave was so large that it barely felt like a cave. There was a dim light that was enough to properly see. The floor was soft and mossy. And out of that moss grew many tree-like branches, but flabby like mushrooms. There weren’t enough of them to call that place a forest but was enough for a park.

5. The bat-like creatures were different animals that wandered underground through different chasms. Many of them got to the Deep realm but little of them returned back.

6. The enormous man looked a lot bigger than the giants. His appearance was also different from giant. His face looked Noble and beautiful. His beard rose down to his waist. And a pure silver light was emitting from him. As stated by the warden, this man is actually Father Time, the former king of the Overland.

7. The city was queer. Every light was positioned far away from eachother which made it hard to see. But there is still the glimpse of the great seaport. The walls, pillars, palaces, and the huge crowd also add to the Fancyness to the city.

8. The young man looked handsome, kind and at the same time bold. He was dressed in black clothes and because of that he reminded of Hamlet.

9. The script originally sounded like:
“Though under Earth and throneless now I be,
Yet, while I lived, all Earth was under me.”

The sign was cut for building purposes. And since then it only left two words.

10. The Knight is the Queen’s Husband. He tells that the queen is a divine race that could not age. The knight is thankful for her bounty. She promises him his own kingdom in the Overland.

I read the article today about the invention of the pen that is considered “Infinet”. The tip of the pen is made of special material that will last for a very long time. In my opinion. I think that this tool would be very expensive and hard to use because of it’s special material that allows it to write indefinitely. I think it’s a cool idea on paper but the realisation would be problematic.
